Question : what is the difference between the coach purses they sell at macys and the ones they sell at the coach store?
i bought mine at macys, but when i went in the coach store some customer said that my purse is nice, and the vendor at the coach store said "its a department store purse" does that mean mine is not as good or what?

Only that you may find a wider selection at Coachstores. Department stores often sell only cheapermodels and perhaps at lower prices than Coachdoes.

If I was the marketing manager for Coach then Iwould really upset with that person and I wouldget them fired. That's not my normal reaction. However, that person is undermining Coach. I don'tknow if there is a difference. There shouldn't be.At a Coach store then you will find more of aselection because they have more room. They haveto offer something different otherwise it would beredundant. That person is probably on commission. That person should be fired for making a remarklike that. That is unacceptable.edit: If Macy'sheard that remark then they would be filing acomplaint with Coach, depending on the scope. Ifit's just one time then alright, a warning. But ifit's habitual then yes, they should becomplaining.

i don't really know about 'coach' stuff, i'mgussing it's american! but in the uk we have adesigner called jasper conran, you can buy hisstuff in his store in london, or you can buy it indebenhams department store, the stuff in debenhamsis a different line to the stuff in his londonstore, it's lower in price and aimed at a widermarket, i'm gussing yours is the same kinda thing. But anyways, who cares what the silly person said,if you like it, thats all that matters

I wouldn't take offense by that statement. I'vebeen told that Coach makes specific styles for theboutiques, outlets and departments stores. Thevendor just recognized that your bag was made fordepartment store sale. Coach makes quality bagsregardless of where they are sold.
