Question : What do you think about folding ladders? Like Little Giant and others.?
I am thinking about buying one of these because I use ladders a lot on the job. Are they legit or are they something that professionals laugh at? Are they safe? What is the down side to them?

My hubby works fulltime for a fire department andthey have them on all the engines...He likesthem...doesn't love them, but says that they arereally easy to use and compact. I hear they are apretty penny too.

There is a lot of good to say about the littlegiant ladders,we have a few at work and find themfor all around jobs to be verygood..............................................................................

I bought one of these several years ago because iwas painting a commercial stairwell and using oneof these ladders was the easiest way to get to theceiling over the stairs. I bought one almostidentical to the little giant, but at about halfthe price, at Home Depot. I couldn't justifyspending $400 for a Little Giant. I still use theladder a lot and I'm pretty pleased with it. It'svery adjustable as you probably know, and is verystable. It's worked very well for me. The onlydrawback on my ladder, which may be different forthe Little Giant, is there is no adjustment on thelegs for setting up on unlevel ground.

I paid $100 for mine from walmart and have seenthem at fleet farm for around $150. I like mine. The infomercial for the little giant makesoperation look easier than I can do it but itworks well for me. The one I bought is a 17 ft.cosco ladder. I looked up cosco on line before Ibought mine and found lots of usefull info.goodluck.

very very good , but if your use to normalladders a bit hard to get used to , they mademe nervous at first ,take time to get used tothem .........

I have a little giant ladder and I love it. Because the price is so high, I bought a Costcobrand for work and I actually like the operationof the Costco brand better.
