Laurel on Berkeley St is great - not all seafood,but oh so good. Atlantic Seafood on Newbury StC.F.Donovan's in Dorchester (on the Red line) is greatfood, great seafood, huge portionsJacob Wirths inthe theatre district is some of the best food inthe city. revitalized german fare - with the bestcalimari and grilled shrimp caesar anywhere!Legalis only good for their fresh oysters (yum!) - therest of their food is not worth the money. Verychain-style with a scoop of steamed veggies on theside of everything.

Great Bay on Commonwealth Ave. If you can't affordit, stick with Legal Seafoods...they are the bestaffordable option.

Well it depends on what you want. If you want thetypical New England fried seafood, I'd sayWoodman's in Essex, which is supposedly the homeof the first fried clam. Otherwise, I would sayget out of the city and travel to some of theplaces on Cape Ann like Gloucester and Rockport,there are probably too many good places to list.
