dont reformat!!!!!!!!!!!! that is stupid... justbecause the hd says there is nothing on it doesntmean its gone.... any hacker or even detectivetype people or anyone who knows computers can getinto it easily.... im not sure about partitionmagic but i dont really trust any software todelete data on a hard drive....there are 3 typesof reformatting... and there is only 2 availablefrom software,1st is a quick format and thecomputer just says the data is gone, but it isstill there...the second is a medium format orjust a regular format, which the computer goesthrough the hd and erases data by sectors, itsbetter but you can still find data.the third isthe computer gives every space on the hd a 1 or a0 but takes forever and can damage the disk....but there is no data on it afterwards. i wouldeither not send the disk or ask a computer placewhat they use to wipe a hard drive...DONT USEREFORMAT....
