Also, about how long does it take to transfer from your ING Direct account to your linked checking account?

The transfer is pretty quick, when you first openthe account it takes like 2 or 3 days to clear butafter that every transaction is instantaneous. The CD gives interest annually and the savingsaccount gives interest monthly and it's userfriendly and you can access your account at anytime. The only thing I'd say if you're thinkingabout opening an ING account is that for savingsyou can get a better rate at

I've had an ING account for a couple of years. Ilike it as an additional savings account because Iput money there and, really, don't think about it. I have a certain amount going into that accountevery month from my main checking account atanother bank. The dividend rate is *OK*, notbetter than my credit union, but better than alotof regular banks. If I recall, my money wasavailable within 24 hours of transferring. I onlytransferred one time and it wasn't money I neededimmediately.

yes, if you dont care for actual bank locals, theyare really good and competivite with rates, i alsohave two of my mortgages with them. they have nopoints and no junk fees for mortgages
