Question : How may I prevent the LowerMyBills.com advertisement from playing on Internet Explorer?
It is a very distractive advertisement - I'm sure you've seen it. :(

All Answers: Answer #1Delete your cookies, temp files, and temporary internet files.Right click START, EXPLORE, openthe COOKIES folder, delete everything in there,then choose LOCAL SETTINGS, delete everything inthe TEMP and TEMPORARY INTERNET FILESfolders.Empty the DELETED ITEMS folder on yourdesk top. Then to be doubly sure, clicks TOOLS atthe top of your browser, click Internet Options,delete cookies, delete files, clear history.Thatshould do it for you.

Well First do get adaware or spybot and scan yourmachine for spyware. if that's playing on yourmachine, than it's a good bet the spyware isinfected your machine. Next you can addlowermybills.com 127.0.0.1 to your Hosts.file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.file, that will redirect any calls toLowerMyBills.com to the loopback address and sendthem nowhere. You should probably get the antispyware Hosts. file from the website below. thesite will explain it for you.
