Question : Which is better booking a holiday online with Expedia uk or Lastminute.com or a travel agents?
I already know how much I want to spend I know my limits and I know who I want to book my holiday with and that company is Virgin I have booked with them before and I have no complaints on my last holiday I booked with a travel agents and got a good price but this time I want to do it differently ie try booking online either straight through with Virgin Holidays online or with Expedia.co.uk which would you say I was better booking with a travel agents or online are you protected the same way with online bookings as you would be if you booked with a travel agents. Are online websites like Expedia.co.uk or Lastminute.com or even Virgin Holidays online a safe option what pit falls would I face if something went wrong if I booked this way. Would I be better off booking with a good old fashioned high street travel agents.

All Answers: Answer #1I used ibookholidays.comIt's really cheap!! - answered by Kim Answer #2You are generally better off booking directly with the tour operator. Its ABTA bond should protectyou (make sure it has one). If you want additionalprotection, pay with a credit card. This protectsyou under the consumer credit act if the holidaycosts more than £100. - answered by epidavros
