The easy way;Walk 5 blocks (1/4 mi)uptownTake theDowntown" E " 2 stops to 53 rd stChange to theUptown "B"Take that 3 stops to the Museum ofNatural HistoryThe subway stop is in the basementof the MuseumThe MTA offers a lot of differentinexpensive multi-ride MetroCardsi.eAll day for $7.00So it may be worth asking about one that suitsyour needs.Btw The Museum is great ,have a goodtime.

At 42 St & Lexington get the Shuttle to the WestSide (it is a one stop train). There get thelocal #1 subway two stops to 59 Street. Changethere to the D train uptown. Get off at thesecond stop, which is in the basement of theAmerican Museum of Natural History. Wearcomfortable shoes as it is enormous and takes alot of walking around!
