Question : Which is the largest REI in the South Bay?
I'm in Sunnyvale so I guess I'm mainly wondering which of Mountain View or San Jose stores is the larger?I ended up visiting both and the Mountain View REI is bigger than the one in San Jose.

All Answers: Answer #1I guess no one can really answer this question without going to all of the stores, and I haven'tdone that. Nevertheless, I think you're right.Mountain View is certainly bigger than San Jose,and if I recall correctly, it's also bigger thanFremont, although the layout is somewhatdifferent.Of course, REI has such cool stuff,maybe we should conduct "scientific research"about the various stores, just to be sure. :-)
