Answer #2 No, because both carriers use differenttechnology, which means that your Phone fromCingular has a little slot where you insert yourSIM card which kind of programs your phone,Verizon wireless phones on the other hand, usesome kind of different technology and areactivated and programmed directly from theoperators network, and even if you were to unlockyor verizon phone, it still would not work withcingular because simply it has no SIM card slot. You know what i mean??? - answered by Tomek C
Answer #3 This is not possible because both companies usedifferent networks and technology - so Cingular'sSIM cards are used only on GSM (Global) networks, while Verizon does not use any type of SIM cardand is on a National network (CDMA) - answered by Angelle
Answer #4 No, it will NOT work. Verizon's phones are CDMA,which don't use sim cards. Cingular's phones areGSM, which require a sim card to work. They aretwo completely different technologies and are notcompatible with each other's networks. - answered by Inuyasha
