Question: #3: I am on the weight watchers diet will I startgaining weight if i get on birth control pills?
I have been on weight watchers for 8 months andalready lost 30 pounds. I plan to lose another 30pounds to get to my goal weight. I am wanting toget on birth control but I am scared I will startgaining weight. Will birth control make me gainweight? - asked by Pink girl cali

There's really no way to know, in some women itmakes them gain weight and others can lose weight. It all depends on how the hormones effect yourbody. Don't be too worried about it though, ifyou are eating right and exercising it shouldn'thave a negative effect on you. - answered by: lepr0kan

Question: #4: How many weight watchers point would a shrimpstuffed jalapeno be?
I have just started Weight watchers and had achurch function tonight at Rockfish and I atereally good except for eating 1 shrimp stuffedjalapeno. I looked on the weight watchers websitebut couldn't find anything that matched. - asked by Sally S

Probably 0 points for one. Was it marinated inanything? The jalapeno is 0 points and 1 shirmpwould only be a fraction of a point so unless itwas wrapped in bacon and/or marinated/basted withsome kind of sauce don't worry about it.WeightWatchers works!! - answered by: count_ducklua

Question: #6: Looking for fellow weight watchers for help withdinner recipes?
Hello, I just completed my first week of weightwatchers. I lost an initial 6lbs for my firstweek. So far the only challenge that I see in thefuture is my dinner plan. I was able to pull offeating different meals than my family for thisweek but I don't think it's very probable for thatto continue. I'm looking for fellow weightwatchers who also have to cook for a husband andchildren and looking for sample dinners withrecipes and points values. Nothing strange orextravagant, I have to cook for 3 boys :) Anyideas? - asked by Cori

I do feel for you, I am on weight watcher as well,I have lost 46lbs in 2 months. The result of meeating differently and not cooking the fatteningdinners I used to cook for my husband, is that myhusband has lost 10 pounds without even trying. Inever really got ahold of any good recipes to cookfor my husband and I. I have seen the WeightWatchers cookbook at Borders and Barnes and Noble.I glanced at it and all the recipes looked yummybut I didn't buy it. You should invest in thatcookbook I think you would get alot of use out ofit. As for me I just stick to salad for dinner.Keep up the good work and remember watch yourpoints and go to the meetings! - answered by: April R

Question: #7: How many weight watchers points in a cup ofcoffee?
How many weight watchers points are there in aregular cup size coffee with two of those littlepre-packaged milk thingies (2% milk - the littlecontainers that they have in restaurants, im notsure how much milk is in there) and a tablespoonof brown sugar? Thanks! - asked by Stellina

It's probably no more than 1/4 cup of milk, somaybe take how many points a cup of milk is anddivide it by 4? I'm not sure how much the brownsugar is. But it wouldn't definitely be easier tojust go with black coffee and it would be nopoints or at least no cals. Sorry this doesn'thelp much. - answered by: bttrfly

Question: #8: With the weight watchers system do you earn extrapoints for exercise?
I thought I heard from someone that if you areusing the weight watchers point system you canearn extra points for exercise. Is this true? Andif so, does anyone have any examples of types ofexercise and the points you earn? - asked by glvtigerman77

Yeah, you can gain points back through exercise. The points vary depending on the intensity of theexersice. I make about 8 extra points a weekbecause I like to take a 1/2 an hour everyotherday to do wither some ab work or some cardio work. However I tend not to use the extra points, because it definatley accelerates my weight loss, - answered by: Kelly R

Ok, had a grilled chicken Southwest salad fromMcdonald's tonight for dinner. Had it with thedressing and the croutons. Does anyone know howmany weight watchers points this is? - asked by angelbaby0906

320 cals 9 fat and 10 fiber = 6 pts (salad)60 cals3 fat and 1 fiber= 1 pt (croutons)100 cals 6 fat 0fiber=3 pts (Newmans Southwest Dressing)go towww.mcdonalds.com click on nutrition and it givesyou the information for all their food. As forthe comment made that you wouldn't be eating atMcDonalds if you were on weight watchers...wellthey don't know the program. 10 pts isn't bad ifthats how you want to spend 10 points. Great Jobkeeping track. Olive Garden provides nutrionalinformation at the restaurant if you ask and mosthave websites you can get the information fromwhen you find you have no alternative but to eatin those places.
