Question : Any 1 ever ordered from StrawberryNet.com?
It says that you may receive a charge for customs/taxes on receipt. How much is this likely to be?! I'm in the UK and from what i can gather products are shipped from Hong Kong.

All Answers: Answer #1I ordered once. I never got any customs/taxes charges but it can happen. Word of warning. Myorder took 13 weeks to be delivered and therecustomer service is awful. Never replying toemails etc. Buyer beware.

Yep, I ordered an expensive lip gloss I couldn'tget anywhere else. It was cheaper onStrawberry.net (about £6 instead of £12).Had itdelivered as a gift to my sister. When herhusband went to collect it, he phoned to me saythey were going to charge him £10 import tax!!!! AND I think it depends on the size/weight/contentsof the package too so you don't really know howmuch they'll charge you.However, I emailedStrawberry.net cos there's somewhere on their sitethat says they might refund the tax charge and,having emailed them a copy of the tax receiptgiven at collection, they did indeed refund me the£10. Took a few weeks all in though.As a result,I never import anything from abroad!!! I alwayslook on ebay or google for it insteadnow.Regards......Celine
