Drugstore.com is an on-line pharmacy and general store for purchasing medicine, soap, shampoo, and other items that you would typically find in a drug store
Question : Where do stores like drugstore.com get name brand products like TIGI to sell?
If you go to drugstore.com and look at any TIGI hair product, it even says they are not an authorized dealer. Where do they obtain those products without being an authorized dealer?

All Answers: Answer #1Often times they will buy out salons or supply houses that are going out of business ordiscarding their expired products. Never buy salonproducts from anywhere other then a salon. I haveto laugh because most of the time in regularstores the prices are higher then just going nextdoor to the salon and buying the guaranteedproduct.I've heard of some stores buying emptybottles (misprints- usually so minute it's notnoticeable to the untrained eye) and filling themwith some cheap junk and selling it as the "realdeal". It's not necessarily the stores doing, buttheir supplier can be very unscrupulous.Anotherthing that happens is someone who pretends to owna salon buys a large quantity of products as an"authorized dealer" and sells it to the chainstores for profit. If they get caught it's a HUGEpenalty.HIGHLY recommended to NOT buy "salonproducts" anywhere but the salon!! - answered by Stky
