Question : How much does Enterprise Rent-a-car charge per day for an underage (21-24) driver?
- asked by dukeblueforlife
All Answers: Answer #1It varies between $0-15 per day. A location I rented from in Las Vegas charged no fee, while thelowest fee I could find near me was $10. Whereveryou're renting from, look at all the locations tosee which has the lowest fee. Even $15 is stilllower than the $25 most other national chainscharge. (Note: it may be higher in New York, where state law requires that all persons aged 18and higher must be able to rent a car. As aresult, insurance costs are higher there.)To loweryour cost even further, go to entertainment.comand get an Entertainment book, which has couponsfor up to 20% off daily and weekly rentals, regardless of age. Avoid airport locations, whichgenerally have more taxes and higher fees. Also,if you have a Visa credit card (not check card),decline the collision/damage waiver (CDW) when yourent the car. Visa has its own CDW insurance youcan use, and it will save you from having to payanother daily fee. - answered by Omar Y.
