Question : Am i allowed to transfer my ticket with British Airways to another day?
I am supposed to travel to Africa on the 23rd but due to some unpleasant circumstances i might not be able to travel. Will British Airways allow me to transfer to a week later or to December. Anybody had a similar situation and was it easy to transfer.

All Answers: Answer #1This depends on the fare that you paid, some fares allow you to change, others allow change for a feeand some don't allow you to change at all. Best tophone and ask .

Depending on the circumstances BA may allow you tochange your flight FOC. More likely they willcharge a small administration fee plus anyincrease in airfare and fuel charges. If you haveholiday insurance your policy may cover you butthat depends on the Company and obviously thecover.

I changed my flight with British Airways yesterday- it cost two hundred and thirty pounds - seventyfive pounds each to change the ticket ( there aretwo of us going) and additional money due totaxes. Had to pay otherwise would have lost allour money. The ticket is valid for one year fromthe date of buying it

you will have to pay and admin fee and that willbe high if you take the June date. try forDecember and see how much they charge.
