Question : What do you think the different diamond shapes say about the wearer?
For example, do you think sophisticated women prefer a certain shape of diamond while more family oriented women prefer another shape? I am not trying to make fun of anyone's preferred cut of diamond - I am really just curious to see if anyone has any opinions about the different shapes out there. I am curious about everyone's opinion about all diamond shapes if you have one.ajsarabi - no I do not have diamond envy - I have a one carat diamond (not saying which shape) but was just bored and wanted to start up a cool conversation.

if you have a butterfly or something like that itmeans you are a different person and likes toexpress who you are. circles are usually theclassic and popular ones. triangles mean yourambitous and determined......something like thatbut you really can't say who you are with a singlemineral.

if I like the ring i just think the person wearingit has good taste and if I dislike it I think thewearer has bad taste. Some shapes may point to amore feminine person and more flashy --but that'sok. Older more mature people tone it down a bit.Wierd shapes like skulls might show a morerebellious side to a person as opposed to a starthen I would think the wearer is more of aromantic

Round cut - the wearer is the type of person whothinks "classics never die". Round-cut diamondwearers have simple, elegant stylePrincess cut -since these are more expensive to produce, thewearer likes fine, expensive things, and the nameof the cut could also describe the person wearingit. Beware: could also be something of adiva.Marquise cut - lovely cut, and makes thefingers look longer. The wearer may be a hopelessromantic (especially if they know the story behindthe Marquis cut stone)Trillion cut - Cool, modernand different. Not many people have this type ofcut stone. The wearer likes different things andhas a quirky sense of style and humor.Oval cut -old-fashioned type of person; tradition is veryimportant to the wearer. To me, oval cut stonesremind me of cameo jewelry (ovals) and antiqueestate jewelry and they are very old-world styleaccessories.
