I think it is typical. It's pretty and all but itlooks like the same thing that every other girlhas.....maybe you should look into something alittle less typical because clearly since you areasking what everyone thinks about it...you're notsure of it. Get something that not everyone has,get something that people don't look at and say,"Hey! My friend Jen has a ring very similar tothat..."

I think it's a ring. Other people's opinion of itis about as important as this letter right here =>Q What really matters to you?1.) what ring hegives you2.) that he's the person that is gettingthe ring to give to youThink a bit more about yourown taste, if it is simply a matter of taste,because it will be on your finger - representinghis care for you. Besides, he showed you the ringthat he wanted to get you because he wanted toknow WHAT YOU LIKE not what you think OTHER PEOPLEwould like. He wants to marry you, and know moreabout you, what your likes and dislikes are...notwhat some women that you don't even know like ordislike. Please don't ask anyone else! Don'tdeprive him out of what your true likes anddislikes are!

It's fairly average, in my opinion. It's not uglyor anything, but sorta boring. Like one of theother posters put it, it basically looks like aring that pretty much anyone has. BUT, if you loveit, that's what matters, and if he loves it andpicked it out for you, that matters even more.,..ilove my engagement ring 1) because my fiancepicked it out with out me and 2) because it's veryunique- the only thing common about it is that itis white gold and has diamonds....the setting isunlike settings I've seen....and I think that'scool.Best of luck!

The styling is much like mine, and I think my ringis the nicest in the world, so obviously, I loveit! I would only caution against Zales. They aremostly found in malls, which means high mallrents, which means higher prices. You couldprobably find a ring just like that at a privatelyowned shop for the same price or a bigger diamondor better quality for the same price.

While I do like the looks of the pave' engagementrings, I find them uncomfortable, b/c if they turnslightly on your finger they get itchy. I preferthe regular solitaires with the smooth band forcomfort. You might not have an issue with this,but you might want to retry it on in the store andthink about it. (Although the sample ring in thestore might be larger than your actual ring sizeand get turned around more than your ring would.)

wow, looks like every other engagement ring I'veseen with the exception of the solitaire. If youwant to be unique, try something different. Ifyou like trendy, go for it. Personally I likethat I've never seen the ring that is on my fingeron another woman's before.

I think that it is very pretty and tasteful! Congrats... however, if you don't like it... TELLHIM NOW! You are going to be the one wearing thering forever... it needs to be something you like. Go to Zales with him and try it on along withsome others so that you will know for sure.
