Question : Has anyone had experience with the company OMAHA STEAKS?
Thinking about ordering from them, steak, burgers and sea food but I never mail ordered MEAT before? If you have, could you share your experience? Thanx

Their meat is delicious. It comes in a foam boxwith dry ice. Veeeeeery tasty.

We got a box of the filets wrapped with bacon forChristmas and they are wonderful! Last year I gota ham as a gift and it was probably the best hamI'd ever had - we've actually ordered one forourself a couple of times now. So - I can tellyou from my perspective the meat and the ham areboth of excellent quality. They do come in acooler packed with dry ice.

Have done it many times. They arrive frozen inthese neat styrofoam coolers which you can keep. Inow have a store less than a mile away so I don'torder any more.

Yes, they are great, we have been getting them forseveral years. They also have stores that you cango and buy things out of the freezer as well. Wehave one near our Target. The fish and dessertsare excellent as well! Enjoy!

something about meat through the mail. if i cannot see what i am getting and know its handling(being sure it isnt spoiled) is why i choose not touse it.

Omaha Steaks are great! I live in Omaha. But tobe honest, they are kind of pricey and I don'tthink they are quiet worth the extra money,however, me being in Nebraska it is one of thebest states to get fresh beef in any grocerystore. If you live some place where you don't getsuch quality fresh beef in your grocery store, itmay be worth the money for you to order them fromOmaha Steaks.

the meat is SOO gooodd!! it comes in a box with awhole bunch of ice packs and you jsut have to cookthem and they are THE BEST. they are really juicyand tender.

My aunt always sends a combo pack to my parentsfor Christmas. Then I steal (with permission ofcourse) the fillets and ground beef. OS is someof the best meat I've ever had (and I've orders1/4 cows direct from the farm before). They areon the pricey side, but they sure are yummy!

Hi! I ordered their fillet mignons as a Xmaspresent for my father and got some for myself, aswell. They sent me 2 free gifts...some burgers anda knife set! The steaks are shrink wrapped andwill keep in the freezer, and they are absolutelydelicious. Same for the burgers. And when they'reall gone, you're left with a nice styrafoam coolerto keep and use. The only drawback is that once Iordered they called me for a few weeks, chasing meto make another order. I plainly told them not tocall me anymore, and they haven't since that time.I hope this helps you!

Ordered quite a bit of food delivered. They shipit in a cooler with dry ice in the cooler to keepit cold. Omaha steaks are ok. The first deal youget is a good deal.

It was a gift box.. It was,,, MY opinion,,, justOK. better than the grocery store frozen...BUT Iwould never order anything. too$$$I cook for justmyself....and lately I question if the grocer andtheir computers KNOW the very penny,, to make thesame profit,,, as eating out.Keeping me fromreally saving any money.Milk $5/gal you know the(B)-- complaint..
