Question : I work at footlocker in michigan and it doesnt pay time and half for holiday. I was wondering if that is legal
I been working there for over a year and couple of months and I never got time and half for holidays. I was wondering if that is legal in michigan for a company to do that? If it is illegal I will bring the house down on footlocker.

Paying time and a half or double time for holidaysis not regulated by the state, but by the company. If you have an employee handbook it should statewhich (if any) holidays you will be paid a premiumrate for. The company is under no obligation topay extra for ANY holiday.
