Question: #1: My chocolate lab is 3.5 months and weighs 45lbs, just trying to get a good estimate on his size...?
I have never owned a lab, so I am unsure of howlarge they can get. Guinness(My Lab) was by farthe largest in a litter of 12.

I ride both english and western, and I use a 18"English saddle and an 16" western, so I'd go witha 16" English if I were you and see if thatworks.The best way to find out what size gulletyou will need is to have a saddler or your trainercome out and measure your horse.I personally likemy Stubben saddle, but they are a bit on theexpensive side(about $600- $800 new), but a verygood brand. A Gatsby is also pretty good, but alittle less expensive.Before you buy the saddleask to try it out for a few days or even a week.That way you can find out if it will work for youand the horse. wow i thought i was the only one with truelylittle feet in the house, lol. honestly walmartdoes have a good shoe that comes in a size 2. it's a flexible sole and very sturdy for wobblingfeet. not like the crib shoes you find in otherstores for much more money.we even looked intonike's and found the soles on this small of shoedid not bend at all, making walking difficult formy daughter. she wore her walmart shoes just fineuntil she finally grew into a size 3 and 4. whichwas about 16 months. she's 2 now and still onlywears a size 4-5, possibly a 6 depending on whomakes them.also converse makes a size 2, you canorder it online, or i found ebay to be a greatplace for little feet. most kids are not walkingin a size 2-4 and the shoes you get there eitherhave been on the shelf since birth or haven't beenwalked in at all. my daughter has so many pairsof merrels that i found on ebay brand new forunder $10 a pair, it's unbelieveable.maybe thestride rite in other areas is better, but in minethey only sold dress or crib shoes in a size 2. none of them were fit for regular walking. theywere more designed as part of an outfit ascompared to actual walking shoes. but yes theyare a good shoe, i just never found one in a size2 that was a regular walking shoe from striderite. - answered by: cagney
