Question : what is the best size exhaust for my car?
i have a 95 civic dx, 1.5 liter sohc vtec. with headers, air intake, intake manifold, performance wires and plugs.

All Answers: Answer #1you dont want to go to big or you will lose all your back pressure. I would think nothing biggerthan 2 inches on such a small motor.

Max 2" pipe with a 3" tail pipe should do thetrick

Suggest you call a few of the after market shopsthat are envolved with improved performance on thesmaller cars.They have the experience with makingyour car run much better. VTEC engines can beworked on just abit and really make them run.Also,keep in mind that as you pursue more performanceyou must update certain components, namely,Injector size, cams and possibly a larger fuelpump.Depends on how much money you want to spendto go fast.Best Wishes in your endeavors.jerry
